New Zealand Student Visa Process
Step 1: Acceptance into a New Zealand Institution

- Offer of Place: Apply to the chosen institution and receive an Offer of Place once accepted.
Step 2: Gather Required Documents
- Personal Documents:
- Valid passport with at least three months’ validity beyond your intended stay.
- Passport-sized photographs meeting New Zealand visa specifications.
- Academic Documents:
- Offer of Place from the educational institution.
- Academic transcripts and certificates.
- Proof of English language proficiency (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL).
- Financial Documents:
- Evidence of sufficient funds to cover tuition fees, living expenses, travel costs, and health insurance.
- Bank statements, financial guarantee from a sponsor, or scholarship letters.
- Health and Character Documents:
- Medical and travel insurance for the duration of your stay.
- Medical exam results from an approved panel physician.
- Police clearance certificate.
Step 3: Complete the Online Application
- Create an Account: Register on the Immigration New Zealand website and create an account.
- Online Application: Complete the online Student Visa Application (INZ 1012) and upload all required documents.
- Application Fee: Pay the visa application fee.
Step 4: Submit Biometrics and Health Examination
- Biometrics: Schedule and attend a biometrics appointment to provide fingerprints and photographs if requested.
